A pair of oils on canvas by John Levack who flourished 1857-57. He was from Airdrie in Scotland and painted Scottish and Irish figures. Both are of superb quality in their original frames with the name and address on original labels on the back of the frame.They depict a game of draughts between father and grandfather where on one father in winning and the other he is loosing.Size Approx 22" x 17".
